SCOUT MEMBERS OVER 14 AND VENTURE SCOUTS UNDER 18 as at the 19th August 2001 were invited to take part.

Following the success of the last twelve conservation projects in Epping Forest, we were asked to arrange a similar conservation project in the summer of 2001 with the guidance and supervision of The Epping Forest Centenary Trust and sponsorship from The Corporation of London who own the forest.

The main tasks included the opening up of forest glades, the restoration of scientifically interesting ponds and other worthwhile tasks. Click here for pre-project information and Photos of the work sites. The project was be based at Fairmead Scout Camp Site, Church Road, near High Beach in Epping Forest.

The four Projects were sucessfully completed, and the participants were once again a credit to themselves and Scouting as a whole. Click here to see the difference that they made.
